HIV ISSUE: AMERICAN VOLUNTEERS PERFORMED ON RADIO SAMARA MAXIMUM
On October 21 two volunteers from the USA working in Samara under Russian-American Volunteer Initiative Program Aaron Norman and Anna Lisa performed on-air in Samara radio show "Rave Time" on FM 104.3 with the Union Leader Alexander Andreev. The main issue became HIV increase in Samara Region.
The broadcast participants discussed reasons for HIV spread and possible measures to prevent increase of the infection. Aaron Norman, Anna Lisa and Alexander Andreev appealed to the young people neither to use drugs nor to have casual sex and unsafe sex, as well as to overcome negative prejudices and stigmas towards HIV infected people.
